Eventfully Deals is a standalone application for booking fully configured events at top New York area venues, including all service charges, fees, insurance, permits, and taxes. When you book through eventfullydeals.com the price you see is the price you pay. 

Additionally the event images you see are intended to depict the actual event decor. While we may not be able to source every sconce and vase and candle exactly as rendered we promise that your event will have substantially the same look and feel as the one shown in our event images. Our goal is to take the guesswork and uncertainty out of booking events, and let you concentrate on enjoying and (if you're a business) profiting from them.

To use our site simply click on an event type to find packages or use the pulldown menus located in the right column to refine your search. You will see a base price for each event. Clicking on that event shows you all the event details down to the number of hand-passed appetizers offered and all services provided. We also offer reviews for our vendors, and you can find out more information by clicking the orange colored Name of any listed vendor to view their web page.

The images of parties, weddings, and other events that we depict show the decor and ambiance that you can expect when you book your party. If we show a Barcelona style chair or sofa that's what you'll get.There may be some slight differences in color scheme or lighting, and we are responsive to your input as well regarding small details.

Included in the cost of all packages is a decor budget, which covers the services of an event design professional, furniture, plant, and decor purchases and rentals, and flower purchases. Also included is all transportation, setup, breakdown and cleanup costs, insurance and permit fees, catering fees, food costs, liquor costs, any administrative fee for liquor purchases (where we buy the liquor for you at wholesale cost for maximum savings), and our fee, which is 7% of the total event cost.

Use the calendar to find actual pricing, which includes all service and additional charges and taxes. The listed "All Inclusive Price" that you see is your actual pricing for the event as listed for the number of people selected. Final pricing adjustments, if any, will be made based on the actual number of people, if that total is different from the number displayed on the calendar. Additionally we're happy to provide additional services (or fewer) if requested. This will either increase or decrease the package cost depending on the nature of your request and the cost of any additional services.

Here's how we make our money and why we think our business model is a win-win for all parties involved.

Eventfullydeals.com negotiates the lowest possible prices we can with our vendors. We then take a fee of 7% of the total package price. Generally we're able to get a 10% reduction from most of our vendors. That means that you end up paying about 3% less for event services than you would if you dealt directly with each vendor. Of course, that doesn't count the time and effort you'd have to spend negotiating with the various service providers. 

Perhaps more importantly we can help you reduce you costs far more by acting as your event planner. We can add additional top-tier vendors if requested, and arrange for them to deliver their services in a timely and professional manner. Since we charge just 7% and, in most cases our vendors are willing to give us a discount on their services, you will most likely end up paying 15-20% less than you would if you worked with an event planner. 

Lastly, we do things many planners would cringe at such as arranging your purchase of liquor directly from a wholesale liquor vendor, instead of leaving you to the mercy of the caterer or planner. We or the caterer then arranges for the bar and licensed bartenders. The overall cost savings of doing the liquor yourself can easily work out to $10-$15/pp or 2k-3k for a large event. That will buy you a lot of peanuts for your event.  We also encourage our customers to bring their own music mix on their IPod/IPad instead of using a DJ, unless the event is heavily dance oriented or a wedding or bar mitzvah, which requires a lot of stops and starts, and special music a particular times.

It's an extremely robust Events Services Directory with added capabilities for Vendor negotiation and Project Management. You can also create your own Evite site and Photo/video Album to share the memories of your event. 

Additionally Eventfully is a place where you can find packaged deals at top venues for a variety of event types and budget levels.  We are in the process of expanding and simplifying the "deals" aspect of Eventfully to make them more easily accessible and to achieve higher discounts for early purchasers.

The Service Directory

This is the best and fastest way on the site to find particular types of vendors. It has limited filtering and is best suited for locating a group of highly rated vendors providing a particular type of service in a particular area. For example, if you select "Venue" and enter your zip code and a distance you are willing to travel you will see all results for venues within that area. Using additional pull-down menus lets you refine your search be selecting event type, budget level, and number of guests. 

If you select Venue, NY, 25 mi, Wedding, 150 guests, Deluxe you will see a list of all Deluxe venues which can host a 150 guest wedding within 25 mi of your home. 

The results you see can be expanded to show more comprehensive information about each vendor. For even more information click on "View Web Profile" to see a complete website for each vendor. The Web Page includes user and critics' reviews along with vendor info and images.

You can book vendors through either the results page or through the vendor website. The website offers additional features such as bookmarking, sharing with friends, setting up a meeting, and printing out the full profile for later use. 

Eventfully Hot and Last Minute Packages

These are complete events packages that Eventfully staff has either located on the Internet or that we have negotiated with specific vendors. We hope to be able to offer many more of these packages at discounted prices in the future as vendors become aware of our presence.  Packages contain a set list of services at a fixed price. You may negotiate with the vendor to add additional services, as you see fit. The reason for offering a fixed package is to substantially reduce the vendors' overhead; this makes it possible for them to charge less than their ordinary fee for the same high-quality services. 

Eventfully Custom Packages

You can get to this unique proprietary feature in three ways; by clicking on "Plan Your Event"; by rolling over one of the 4 boxes in the header and filling out the brief form and clicking "GO"; or by clicking either "Get Started Now" next to "Your Complete Planning Solution" or by rolling over any of the 4 buttons located below (labeled 1, 2, 3, 4) and clicking "GO". 

Once you access the Enter Event Info form you have many ways to filter your results. Selecting your Event Type lets you choose from more than 20 different Events Services that you may be requiring along with the event venue and catering. You'll be able to specify what your requirements are for each service

Event location, budget, date, and number of guests can all be specified as well. We offer a wide choice of event venue types and special venue features. For many this is probably the most important single factor driving your search; you want to hold your event in a very special and very particular type of place, so---we empower you to do just that! We also let you select the type of catering you need (cocktails only or hand-passed apps, sitdown meal and dessert bar, etc.)

As early as possible! Six to Fifteen Months ahead of time, depending on the type of event and desired venue, generally insures that you can plan your event done properly with the vendors of your choosing. Remember that your choice of Service Level has a great impact on vendor availability in your locality. Premiere venues are generally booked as early as 15 months in advance in many places.

Our goal is to work entirely on the vendor side to bring prices down so that you can get BOTH events services plus our robust event selection and management and promotional tolls for the same price or less than you'd pay if you dealt directly with the vendor.

Since this is a new site with a new business model it may take a while to achieve that result. Here is an explanation of our fee structure. 

We charge a 5% fee on all events services booked through this website and a 7% fee on events packages. We ask that the vendor absorb this charge as its commission for receiving business from Eventfully.  If the vendor agrees then you pay nothing for using our site, including our Project Management System and Evite Site. If the vendor insists on receiving its full fee after negotiation then you would pay the 5% or 7% fee. Most vendors are willing to negotiate fees do some degree in return for your commitment. 

We fully expect that, once the site has been doing business for a while, vendors will be happy to pay Eventfully its commission, thus insuring that you pay no extra fee, whatsoever. In fact, because Eventfully has vendor negotiation tools and bidding tools our hope is that you will be able to book events for less than you would if you dealt directly with vendors, because our vendors know that they are competing with others and thus have an incentive to reduce their prices.
